Nydie Mains Farm is situated three miles west of St Andrews and within a mile of the village of Strathkinness. It overlooks the Valley of the River Eden and enjoys superb panoramic views towards the River Tay and the foothills of the Grampians.

West Rigg Cottage, together with East o'Eden and Middlewell Cottages, form a terrace of three traditional pantile-roofed cottages next to a quiet, country road. They are situated in an area of pretty woodland on Nydie Mains Farm with glorious views over The Eden Estuary, St Andrews and the West Sands. All three cottages share a large enclosed garden with swings and sandpit.
