The Featherhouse is situated amidst the gentle, unspoilt countryside of Mountquhanie Estate, tucked away in the hills and woodland 5 miles north of Cupar. This charming house which dates from the 16th century is located beside 15th century Mountquhanie Castle (now in ruins) and in front of the estate stables. It overlooks Mountquhanie Mansionhouse and the valley below.
